Many families struggle in remote villages to find work, and traditionally have worked as farmers. Often when under financial difficulty, the family sells its animals, leaving them with no form of income. Giving a family a goat allows them to generate an income to support their family.
You will receive a Christmas card stating your gift which you may then give to someone in lieu of a gift, and GSM will distribute what you bought to those who need it most.
